Stash Report Week 30

Used this week: 6 yards

Used YTD: 92.50 yards

Added this week: 5 yards

Added YTD: 36 yards

Net:  -54.75 yards

Don't you just get so frustrated when computers don't work as they should and always have? Tried to upload pics, would not do it. got the other camera thinking it was the cord to the first one, nope, would not do that one either. Re-installed the hardware, nope, not that either.

Had some great pics too! Will work on it later as I am working on a project with a deadline. I quit working on that because I had to rip out a section because it was upside down so thought updating the blog would be a welcome diversion. Wishful thinking.

Check out the others having better luck at Patchwork Times.

Maybe later....

Not much used this week but lots going on. I had so much fun with the Mug Rugs last week, I did a few more. Now I have to decide which ones to send. A friend needed a yard of Kona white....so that is out also.
It is so hard not to have a LQS when you need it now!

Two more blocks completed for Just Us Quilters BOM Sampler. This is turning out so cute and am falling in love with the colors. I started this to use up stash not knowing where it was headed. Don't you love it when no plan turns into a plan!

It was Guild week and had some extraordinary "Show and Tells" Here are a few....

If you are going to make one, why not make 3.

Some very talented quilters in our group.

 First Quilt...and it is queen-size!

Love this. All from Stonehenge. The pic does not do it justice!

Either a great start for this year or a little late.

My oh my! Simply beautiful.

Neutral love....

All 50 States, hand embroidered by the gal on the right(age 92), pieced by the gal in the middle and quilted by the gal on the left!

Some more talent!

And then there was food. I think we all waddled out of there. Are all quilters good cooks?

And last but certainly not least, my FQ Swap arrived. How cute and so much effort put into it. I will cherish it. Thanks so much Lani.

I am so grateful that Judy keeps us on track!

Stash Report Week 27

Whoo-Hoo, 1/2 year gone and 1/2 way to my goal.

Little by Little

That's how my week has gone. Nothing major going on, just little bits of things.

We had a wonderful 4th with friends, getting our grill on! I made dessert....

I am making several bags for my daughter. A lunch bag and tote. She works 12 hour shifts, so carries more than just her lunch and has many things to transport from her parking spot into work including her purse and wanted a bag big enough for everything. She has to pass through security and it is easier if it is all in one place. So I started with the lunch bag.

The fabric is from Connecting Threads, including the laminated inside. Just love their stuff! The big tote will be matching.

Next up are my bonus block for a BOM for "Just Us Quilters" on Facebook. Fun group, lots of ideas and feedback if you would like it. I have picked up quite a few hints from there and the experience ranges from beginner to expert.
Saturday the 9th, two more blocks will be posted...can hardly wait. Here's mine so far...I am doing it fairly bright. There is still time to catch up, just request to be a member and the files are all there!
On the same page we are doing a Mug Rug Swap and I have finished mine. I hope my swapee does. Such fun to make and instant gratification! Here they are.

And last but certainly not least, it is almost Fair Time and the Challenge project. I am armed with my instructions and my fabric. I hope that fabric starts talking soon.
I threw them in the FQ bins thinking together they might hatch a plan.
