Stash Report Week 18

Used this week: 0 yards
Used YTD: 75.75 yards

Added this week: 10 yards
Added YTD: 31 yards

Net:  -41 yards

Nothing completed this week to count but I did manage to make my numbers go backwards. Picked up some Jo Morton and Barbara Brackman. I have a plan for this but then, of course, I always have a plan for any new purchase.  I went to the LQS for one thing and this attached itself to my hand! I think they have a 12 step program for this!

Working on BOM on the Facebook Group - Just Us Quilters. The first 2 are complete and everything is neatly stashed together. Here's to hoping they stay near the top 'til next month!
Just sent in my registration for a Retreat in October with SIL and her Mom. Can't wait, it is always so much fun to be with them.

SIL and I are coordinating the Quilt Show(non-juried) in Zumbrota for the Covered Bridge Festival. We will be doing it in a church again, hoping to replenish the foodshelf there along with showing some awesome quilts, new and vintage.

I'm working on a lunch tote and matching larger tote for DD2 for her to use for work. DGG 2 also wants a tote for her birthday at the end if this month. Better get busy.

On the wall:
Think I will add a blue border and then the stripe for the binding. It will be another baby quilt to put away as I have seemed to need so many of them lately.

Here is what it looked like around my house last Thursday morning...
We ended up with about 15.5 inches, many trees down, power out in some places and very depressed people. It was May 3rd for pete's sake! The strange thing about this storm is that not even 20 miles away, there were areas that got NOTHING! Not even a raindrop. The Sunday before, it was almost 80 degrees and I was enjoying a Margarita out on the patio and grilling our lunch. This coming Thursday it is predicted to be 80 again. Mother Nature is certainly showing her split personality.

Yesterday we went and watched our nephew go to his last prom. Poor kids could not even have pics outside because of the weather, May 4th, seriously...
He will be attending North Dakota State this fall for engineering. We are so proud of him and all that he has accomplished!

On the agenda: Laundry
                                     Cleaning the Studio
                                      Figuring out something for dinner
Get ready for guild this week, I'm doing a demo on cutting

Go check out everyone's stash busting efforts at Patchwork Times.

As Always,

Deb
